About Pressed to the Edge

Pressed to the Edge is a community-funded vinyl pressing platform built for independent artists and the people who believe in them.

Every record on this platform exists because enough people said yes. Not a label. Not an algorithm. A community of listeners who heard something worth owning on wax — and put their money behind it.

How we started

We started Pressed to the Edge because we kept seeing the same problem: artists with incredible records they could not afford to press, and fans who would have pre-ordered in a heartbeat if they had only had the chance. The minimum order quantity for a vinyl pressing run is 100 units. That is the number that unlocks a record. We built this platform to help artists reach it.

What we believe

Vinyl is the most committed format in music. Buying a record is a physical act of belief — you are saying this music deserves to exist in the world as an object. We believe that commitment should start even earlier, at the pressing stage, with the people who care most.

We also believe artists should keep control. Pressed to the Edge takes no ownership of your music, no publishing rights, no masters. We are a crowdfunding mechanism for pressing costs, nothing more.

The team

We are a small team of music obsessives, record collectors, and independent label veterans. We have spent decades in the vinyl ecosystem — pressing plants, distribution, retail, touring — and we built the platform we always wished existed.
